LuxCraft Poly Furniture is made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which comes from recycled plastic materials. It never requires painting or staining and will not splinter or rot. It is also not affected by most corrosive substances. In order to maintain the beauty of your poly wood outdoor furniture, we recommend the following care tips: Clean outside furniture with LuxCraft Poly Brite cleaner and rinse with warm water monthly (some colors such as white may require more frequent cleanings). For certain stains, it may be necessary to scrub with a soft bristle brush, included with our LuxCraft Poly Brite Cleaning Kit, sold separately. Fasteners are 316-grade stainless and although this is a premium grade stainless, it is still susceptible to corrosion in extreme conditions (e.g. coastal areas with continuous exposure to salt water). In those conditions it is recommended to rinse the poly furniture weekly with water and wipe the hardware with a soft microfiber cloth. Do not place hot items on your furniture as this could potentially melt the plastic material. Certain flowerpots or containers left on the furniture over an extended period of time could cause staining.
